A friend who is going to Morocco soon asked me to make a plan for an 8-day road trip with departure and arrival in Tangier. I thoug to share this. It’s one of many possible itineraries as 8 days is not enough to visit the entire country. One requirement was to visit the Sahara so I had to skip places like Agadir and Essaouira that I love. I also decided to skip the westernized Rabat and Casablanca. Just not enough time. Also, some roads, especially in the South, are really bad so I took that into consideration and avoided night driving in the south except around Marrakesh. Here it is.
